School Examination

Often parents share their concern when the child did not do well in the school examination, even the child is already learning Kumon Maths.

School examination often covers a broader scope than Kumon Maths and therefore, we can analyze the area of weakness which may include specific topic, basic (Maths) skill, comprehension (language) skill, degree of complexity of the question (difficulty), attention span etc..Knowing where the gap is, our action plan will be well targeted.

When a child is learning 2 years or more beyond the school grade, parents will usually observe a significant difference in the child's ability in his/hers school work. This will further enhance with the child's language ability. Besides able and confident with his/her Mathematics skills, the child is using his/her language skills to translate the words questions to a Mathematics equation and solve them.

It is equally important to provide the support to our child to be confident with his/her language skills.

Reaching Out

It is our objective to ensure the students learn progressively, step by step, to finally achieve the study goal projected based on the ability of the student.

Both parents and centre staff are required to work hand-in-hand, clarifying doubts and expectations, resolve and find ways to support the student or the child achieving his/her study goal.

By having us believing our child can do it, our next role is to support the child to make it happen. Only us both teachers and parents persevere to pursue the child, only then the child persevere to reach his/her goal.

The centre start distributing Hello Cards to students who enrolled between 1-3 months, to obtain feedback from parents and to contact parents via phone/meeting as indicated.

Hello Cards will soon be distributed to students who have studied more than 6 months for the same reason.

The centre management wish to thank parents who completed the Hello card with feedback. We value your input and are seriously review the appropriate action plans to be in-place.

Coin Phone

The centre has now installed a coin phone to enable student who wish to contact their parents/guardian upon completion of their class work.
When it was first installed, it is not fully operational as there are some glitches. The problem is now fixed and expected to be operational by now.
